Cooperation meeting between the KVLO and EU-Studies Department
On January 30, 2020, the kick-off meeting for joint research projects and the revival of the old working group “International Working Group for Contemporary Physical Education” (IAZL) took place in the premises of the Dutch Sports Teachers’ Association in Zeist after preliminary talks in 2019. KVLO, the WWU department EU-Studies and the Mulier-Institut are currently involved in a joint EU project (EuPEO), in a joint review project under the management of CEREPS (Research on Physical Education and School Sport in Europe) and in the planning of two further projects (gkgk 2.0; EuPEO DE/NL). Those projects are all tied to the Willibald Gebhardt Institute as well.
Both sides have agreed to revive the old IAZL working group with experts from the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Austria, Switzerland and Germany and to restart it in 2021 with a joint congress of KVLO, EU Studies and the WGI as an associated institute at Muenster Universiity.
