“EduPASS” Kick-off-Meeting in Luxembourg
In May the official kick-off event of the EduPASS project took place at the University of Luxembourg in Esch-sur-Alzette. The University of Luxembourg as the leading project partner had invited all EduPASS participants to discuss organizational and content-related details of the Erasmus+ project. Besides the University of Luxembourg and the Willibald Gebhardt Institute, represented by Prof. Dr. Roland Naul and Dr. Sebastian Brückner, representatives of the project partners University of Seville, Sport Ireland, the European Council of Research in Physical Education and School Sport, the National School of Physical Education in Luxembourg as well as Valgo Sport Consulting from Spain were present.
“We were able to reach important consensus on the details of the content with regard to the methodological approach for the first, basic work packages,” explained Roland Naul after the meeting in Esch-sur-Alzette. The work on the literature review as well as a standardized survey of experts on the topic of qualification of educators and trainers of children and adolescents in the context of physical activity, exercise, play and sport is currently being implemented by all partners in the project consortium in their home countries.
