WGI kicks off TBrainBoost-Workshop 3.0 as part of “dvs-Hochschultag” in Muenster
Wednesday, September 17 marked the start of the TBrainBoost Workshop 3.0, organized by the Willibald Gebhardt Institute in cooperation with the Institute for Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Münster as part of the 27th “dvs Hochschultag” sport-science conference. Based on the conference theme “Sports Science: Diversity and Sustainability!?” the workshop theme is part of the TBrainBoost project “Sports Science – (Research and Knowledge) Transfer under the umbrella of diversity.”
The workshop brings together experts, researchers, and practitioners to exchange ideas, share insights, and explore practical approaches to research and knowledge transfer in sports. The program includes inspiring lectures, interactive discussions, and practical exercises – all under the guiding principles of healthy aging, sports science, and diversity. Special highlights on the first day included the interactive poster session, the keynote speech, and the Science Slam – all part of the dvs-Hochschultag conference. In between, workshop participants had the opportunity for personal exchange, reflection, and discussion.
On the other days of the event, the TBrainBoost workshop is also closely linked to the conference of the German Association for Sports Science (dvs), “Sports Science: Diversity and Sustainability!?”, organized by the Institute for Sports Science at the University of Münster, thus offering an important opportunity to combine science and practice.
