WGI wins EU-Sport Policy Tender issued by the European Parliament

Together with a research consortium made up of several high-profile partners the department led by Prof. Mittag at DSHS Cologne (lead) and the WGI (Prof. Naul, co-lead) have won an EU-Sport Policy Tender issued by the European Parliament entitled: „EU-Sport Policy: Assessment and Possible Ways Forward“ (IP/B/CULT/IC/2020-025).

Part of the consortium that will work on the study on behalf of the EU Parliament are the European Physical Education Association (EUPEA)  and the European Youth Sport Association ENGSO Youth. Those partners are represented by Claude Scheuer (also a personal WGI member) and Ugne Chmeliauskaite (Chairwoman ENGSO Youth). The joint project underlines the strong working connection between the WGI and ENGSO Youth, which is also an institutional member of WGI. For the WGIU, or on behalf of the WGI, Sebastian Brückner and Christina Uhlenbrock will be involved working on the EU Tender.
