WGI submits EU Project Proposal

In May the Willibald Gebhardt Institute, together with a group of national and international partner organizations, submitted a project proposal to the EU. All required materials were submitted before the deadline to the call by the European Parliament.

Despite the current Corona Pandemic and its debilitating effect on everyday life including international research collaboration, the WGI is actively working with its vibrant network of international partner organizations and institutions – and seems set up well to manage these current and future challenges. All project partners are now waiting to hear back from the EU and see if their bis has been successful.

Should the proposal be accepted, the exceptional infrastructure that the WGI as a joint institute of the University of Muenster has to offer as well as the strong network of research partners will make it possible to implement this new project successfully.
