European Conference on Research in Physical Education and School Sport postponed
Since March 2020, the Willibald Gebhardt Institute and its activities are also affected by the Corona virus. While some projects, like the current EU Tender on behalf of the European Parliament progress without any delays, and data collection in school settings has resumed in other WGI projects, the European Conference on Research in Physical Education and School Sport has to be postponed due to the spread of the Corona virus.
After the number of Corona infections increased steadily over the last few weeks in neighboring countries as well as in Germany several invited keynote speakers had to cancel their planned attendance at the conference site in Soest due to imposed travel restrictions/bans. Thus, the WGI and its partners in organizing the conference decided to postpone the European Conference on Research in Physical Education and School Sport, which was originally scheduled for mid-October 2020 as an on-site event. New dates for on-site conference proceedings are either end of March or beginning of April 2021.
